About the Facilitators

 

Robert Eubank


Robert has 32 years of utility experience, ranging from five years as a lineman in distribution and transmission, 17 years as an electric distribution, transmission and generation system operator and 10 years as a system operations trainer.  Robert’s training endeavors have included activities such as field switchman training, system operator training, and marketer training. 

He has provided training for the NERC certification exam, continuing education training for NERC certification, system restoration drills, and training for personnel that are either new or unfamiliar with system operations.  Robert was instrumental in revamping the WECC System Operator Training Program from a lecture-based program to a simulation-based program.

Robert has served on many industry committees including NERC Personnel Sub-Committee, WECC Operations Training Sub-Committee, EPRI Power Switching Safety Task Force and the Bismarck State College Power System Operations Degree Program Advisory Committee. 

 

Lynn Rasmussen


Lynn has twenty seven years of utility experience.  She spent 14 years doing all facets of line construction work from distribution overhead and underground to transmission tower work, voltages ranging from 0kV to 500kV.  She started in the field, working as a lineman, and then moved into management and supervision.  

Lynn then moved into system operations and has spent the last 13 years in various positions from transmission and generation dispatcher to becoming one of the experts in the California market. 


Lynn was an operations trainer for 3 years then became the lead external trainer for the CAISO when they implemented the new market re-design project (MRTU) in 2009.  She has Bachelor’s degrees in Business Management and Business Administration.
